Modern Machinery has purchased the assets of the former Madill Equipment Company based out of Nanaimo, British Columbia. The acquisition included all the parts and machine inventories in the US and Canada and the rights to the Madill name. Although we have no plans in the immediate future to manufacture new machines, we are excited about supporting you with parts and service support into the future.

Madill LLC is now marketing parts and service in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand through our network of equipment dealerships, which include SMS Equipment in Canada and Modern Machinery in the US. Madill LLC has continued to replenishing stocking levels above and beyond the $15,000,000 inventory that was available following the acquisition. All remaining Madill Equipment was sold at auction by Ritchie Brothers in the fall of 2008 and will be supported through the dealer network. Because our acquisition did not include any warranty reserves, we will not be able to offer any warranty coverage on existing machines in the field and any existing machine warranties are no longer valid.

We have hired Curtis Bolton as the General Service Manager to assist with technical issues and Jeff Bergunder as the General Parts Manager in Nanaimo. In addition, Modern Machinery has hired numerous former Madill parts and service employees to provide immediate and ongoing expertise on Madill products.
